35 m², 1 room, floor 4 of 13 — Bagrationi District, Batumi. Price 1 714 $ per m². Sold by the owner.
Georgia's second-largest city and the capital of Adjara, on the Black Sea at the foot of the Caucasus, about 20 km from the Turkish border. The climate is humid subtropical — mild winters, warm summers and plenty of rain all year round. A seven-kilometre boulevard runs along the coast, laid out from 1881 and protected as a monument of garden art. The city has its own international airport right at the southern edge of the built-up area, Georgia's largest seaport and a university. Since 2010 Batumi has been changing fast: new high-rises stand next to restored turn-of-the-century townhouses.
